Accessibility Features at Western Manitoba Centennial Auditorium

At Western Manitoba Centennial Auditorium, we are committed to providing a
welcoming and inclusive environment for all patrons, regardless of their mobility or
accessibility needs. Here's an overview of the accessibility features available at our
facility:

1. Accessible Parking: We offer two designated accessible parking spaces located
on the south side of our facility, conveniently situated near the front entrance
and roundabout for easy access.

2. Drop-Off Area: For added convenience, we provide a drop-off area located at
the front of the facility within the roundabout, ensuring smooth and safe access
for all patrons.

3. Wheelchair Ramp: A wheelchair ramp is located on the south side of our main
entrance, providing a seamless entry point for patrons with mobility devices.
This ramp leads directly to our accessible doors.

4. Elevator Access: Inside the facility, patrons can find an elevator located house
left in our foyer. This elevator provides access to the Grand Salon and additional
accessible washrooms, ensuring all patron areas of the facility are easily
reachable.

5. Auditorium Seating: For those attending events in the auditorium, we have
ensured accessibility by providing a ramp house right in our foyer, leading
directly to the auditorium seating area.

6. Designated Accessible Seating: Within the auditorium, a designated
accessible section is available. This section accommodates six wheelchairs of
any size and function. Additionally, this area provides comfortable seating
options for patrons using walkers.

7. Emergency Assistance: In the event of an emergency, our trained usher staff
positioned inside the doors are prepared to assist all patrons, including those
with accessibility needs, in evacuating the premises safely and efficiently.

8. Washrooms: Spacious, accessible stalls can be found house right in the men's
and women's washrooms. On the lower level near the elevator exit is also a
large private family style washroom.
