Audience Information
Yes we do. The Rotary Club assists in this service to the public for most of our professional shows. There is no cost to hang your coat but donations are gratefully accepted.
Audio/video recording policy?
Cameras, video cameras and audio recording devices are not permitted inside the theatre. Cameras may be permitted during some performances at the promoter’s discretion. Please check the individual show description page.
Where can I park for an event at the WMCA?
Lots 6 and 5 are available, free of charge to patrons of our events. Street parking is available as well, but please be mindful of parking signs.
Do you have a bar at the WMCA and can I take my drink into the Concert Hall?
The majority of shows at the WMCA have a bar.
The Western Manitoba Centennial Auditorium Foyer and bar open one hour before show time. Arrive early and enjoy a pre-show beverage. Beverages are permitted in the concert hall, however food is not permitted.
For most performances, the bar will remain open through the end of intermission. If there is no intermission, the bar will remain open 15 minutes after the start of the performance for your enjoyment. Non-alcoholic drinks are available during our professional kids' shows. Our bar is cash only but we have an ATM located in the front vestibule.
Do I have to sit in a seat or can I watch from the stairs?
Sitting/standing in the aisles is NOT permitted under any circumstances.
No children are to be left unattended in the foyer during a performance. Running is not permitted in any area of the building.
To ensure maximum enjoyment for all, we recommend that children be of age to sit quietly throughout a performance. Babes-in-arms may be permitted at family or children's programs.
Theatre seating is generally available one half hour prior to show time, or at the discretion of the Manager of House Services.
Please be courteous and silence cellular phones and other electronic devices before the performance begins.
